Increased capacity for Viterra and SA Health

CSS is delighted to have recently completed major projects for Viterra and SA Health building upon our valued existing relationships with both clients.

The work for Viterra, which delivered increased capacity at its South Terrace data-facility, supports the company’s virtualisation strategy. The company is now able to run legacy and virtualised systems in parallel.

Our recommendations were adopted by Viterra and work undertaken included the decommissioning of two computer room air conditioning units with the installation of a larger capacity unit, upgrading of power capacity, new UPS with external battery cabinet, installation of an environmental monitoring device and insulation of windows to decrease the ambient heat load.

The upgrading of an existing computer room by CSS at the Repatriation Hospital has enabled SA Health to house additional equipment and increase its capacity.

New distribution boards, computer room air conditioning unit and an environmental monitoring device have all been installed.

Both projects highlight our expertise in delivering smart solutions for existing sites to deliver increased capacity and optimise use.
